One of the LA Galaxy’s biggest youth soccer tournaments is returning to Southern California this summer.
Copa LA, Driven by Chevrolet, has re-upped for a 2017 edition, one year after the fielding the largest number of teams in the most successful tournament in the competition’s history. In 2016, over 230 teams participated from Northern California, Southern California, Mexico, Arizona and Nevada.
The tournament takes place from May 27-28 at the AB Brown Soccer Complex in Riverside, Calif.
Team registration is open to boys and girls born between 1999-2011. Put on by LA Galaxy, all teams are guaranteed three games on professionally maintained field with certified referees. LA Galaxy Academy Scouts and select LA Galaxy players will be in attendance.
