Recycle.Goal. - 2014

The Los Angeles Galaxy and the American Chemistry Council (ACC) are teaming up to be part of an exciting program that rewards soccer teams for recycling. “Recycle.Goal.” is a competition between local youth soccer teams with players ages 9-16 that spurs some healthy rivalry as teams compete to collect recyclable materials. Beginning in August 2014, the six week program challenges teams to compete to collect the most recyclable plastics and other recyclable materials. The efforts of the young athletes will help ensure that these valuable materials make it into the recycling bin rather than the trash bin.

The ten teams to recycle the most will be invited to a LA Galaxy-Recycle.Goal clinic held at the StubHub Center. Other prizes include gift cards, tickets to Galaxy games and more! The Recycle.Goal program kicks off on August 25th, so give litter a red card and join the LA Galaxy and ACC in helping to recycle as much as we can.

The Program runs from August 25th – October 5th and team Registration opens August 1st. Check back in August to register your team!
