MLS moves LA Galaxy's April 6 match against Montreal Impact to October 6 ahead of CCL

MLS Commissioner Don Garber revealed that the league was looking for ways to soften the fixture blow on MLS clubs competiting in the CONCACAF Champions League Semifinals and on Thursday, they delivered.

The league announced on Thursday that the Galaxy's match against the Montreal Impact  at The Home Depot Center, which was originally scheduled for April 6 has been moved to Oct. 16. Meanwhile, Seattle Sounders FC also saw their April 6 match against Chivas USA moved to Sept. 4.

In addition to the league match, the Galaxy's MLS Reserve League opener against the USLPro's LA Blues on April 7 at CSU-Fullerton will also be rescheduled. No date for that match has been set yet. 

Seattle open their CCL semifinal series against Santos Laguna on April 3 at CenturyLink Field while the Galaxy host Monterrey on April 4 at The HDC
