In three seasons with the Fire, Husidic appeared in 50 regular season games and two postseason games, scoring five goals and adding six assists. He set career-highs with 22 games played as well as five goals and three assists in 2010. Following the 2011 season, Husidic was selected by the Colorado Rapids in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Process, but he chose to sign in Sweden with Hammarby. He would spend two seasons with the club, appearing in 41 games in that time, scoring once while helping Hammarby finish fourth in the standings in 2012 and fifth in 2013.
