It takes a top player to lift an entire team, especially when that side is up against the wall. Sometimes a clutch performance is needed to give that side a boost. Three players stood out in Week 25 after putting in just such performances.

Blaise Nkufo tallied not only his first MLS goal, but the Sounders' first-ever MLS hat trick, too. Those goals helped Seattle thrash one of the league's best in their own home, likely sending shock waves throughout MLS.

Dwayne De Rosario is a perrenial clutch player, and he proved that once again by firing a brace to rally TFC past Houston. It was an emotional response the team needed after a tough week, and it thrust TFC straight back into the playoff race.

As for Landon Donovan, we've all seen him score unforgettably imperative goals throughout the summer. On Saturday, with the Galaxy slumping at home to a struggling D.C. United, Donovan tallied twice to ensure the Galaxy would regain the overall top spot.

But which performance was most impressive? Most important? Most clutch? Let us know!
