CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, November 1, 2011) – The LA Galaxy announced today, that in conjunction with The Home Depot Center and California State University, Dominguez Hills, the club will be increasing capacity to 20,000 for the home leg of their Western Conference Semifinal Series with the New York Red Bulls on Thursday, November 3 at The Home Depot Center. With 15,000 tickets already sold for the game, the club have now made additional tickets available in the lower bowl for Thursday’s game, which kicks off at 8 p.m. and is presented by Pechanga Resort & Casino, starting at $30.

In an effort to provide additional tickets for fans while not impacting CSU – Dominguez Hills student parking, the Galaxy will be offering complimentary parking for fans at the South Bay Pavilion and the Artesia Transit Center for Thursday’s deciding playoff game. No picnicking of any kind will be allowed in the parking lots at either of these remote locations.

Free shuttles will run on continuous loops between each location and the stadium with the last shuttle set to leave the remote parking locations at 8:45 p.m. to take fans to The Home Depot Center. Previously, capacity at The Home Depot Center was limited to 15,000 for Thursday’s game because of a long standing, mutual agreement with The Home Depot Center and California State University, Dominguez Hills regarding reduced stadium capacity for midweek games during the school year.

Following Sunday’s 1-0 win over New York at Red Bull Arena, the LA Galaxy are now on the verge of advancing to and hosting a third straight Western Conference Championship. With a win or a draw in the second leg of their Western Conference Semifinal Series with the Red Bulls on Thursday night, the Galaxy would move one step closer to a return to MLS Cup.

If the Galaxy advance past the Red Bulls, they will face the winner of the series between Seattle Sounders FC and Real Salt Lake in the Western Conference Championship. That game would be played at The Home Depot Center on Sunday, November 6 with the stadium capacity returning to the full 27,000.

Tickets for Game Two of the Western Conference Semifinal Series at The Home Depot Center are on sale now starting at just $30.
