Notes from the LA Galaxy's 1-1 draw with the Colorado Rapids

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- The LA Galaxy extended their unbeaten run to ten games as Marcelo Sarvas and Jaime Castrillon traded first half goals, but the most important news of the night was a knee injury to A.J. DeLaGarza

In the 30th minute, while attempting to stop an Omar Cummings run up field, DeLaGarza appeared knock knees with the Jamaican forward. The injury forced DeLaGarza to be stretched off the field and was carried by the club's training staff into the locker room. A team official confirmed that the preliminary diagnosis was a left knee sprain for DeLaGarza.

A few notes from the match:

Tommy Meyer stepped in for DeLaGarza making his first league appearance since a 1-0 May 5 defeat to the New York Red Bulls at The Home Depot Center.

Marcelo Sarvas goal was his second of the season.

During LA's unbeaten run, the Galaxy have only trailed for a total of 20 minute (17 minutes against the Columbus Crew and three against Isidro Metapán).
