CARSON, Calif. – David Beckham was not present during the portion of the LA Galaxy’s training session that was open to the media on Saturday.
The session was the club’s final one before heading to San Jose for Sunday’s match at Buck Shaw Stadium against the San Jose Earthquakes.
A Galaxy spokesman declined comment when asked if Beckham was taking part in gym work earlier in the day. Beckham trained on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with the Galaxy’s full squad, but was working out indoors during Friday’s session. The team was off on Wednesday.
