Time Warner Cable SportsNet to broadcast their first LA Galaxy game this afternoon

CARSON, Calif. (Sunday, October 21, 2012) – Time Warner Cable SportsNet, the LA Galaxy’s new television partner, will broadcast their first Galaxy game on this afternoon when the Galaxy take on the Western Conference leading San Jose Earthquakes. Mark Rogondino, Cobi Jones and Kyndra de St. Aubin will call the action live from Buck Shaw Stadium starting at 4 p.m.


The network will also air a 30-minute pregame show; “Access SportsNet: Galaxy” starting at 3:30 p.m. with host Andy Adler, who will be joined live in studio by former Galaxy head coach Steve Sampson, who led the club to the MLS Cup/Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup “Double” in 2005.


Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes can be found in SD and HD on Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks. Negotiations with other providers to carry the networks are ongoing but have not yet concluded.
