Mike Magee is having a good week. The Galaxy forward earned Player of the Week honors after scoring his first career hat trick in Sunday’s 4-0 season opening win over the Chicago Fire. And that wasn't even the best part of his day. "The best part of the day was getting the ring," he told media after the match.
Despite this great start to the week neither Magee nor his teammate Robbie Keane, who scored LA's fourth goal, were nominated for MLS Goal of the Week.
