COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- The LA Galaxy dropped their second match in three games on Saturday as they fell 2-0 to the Colorado Rapids.
The Rapids took the lead in the 35th minute when Hendry Thomas cut found space on a Dillon Powers corner to head the ball past Cudicini. Just two minutes from the start of second half, the Galaxy conceded again when Powers broke free after a pass from Edson Buddle and fired a shot into the LA net.
LA is now 3-8-1 on the road this season. Their last win on the road came on June 23 against Chivas USA.
