CARSON, Calif. (Friday, October 4, 2013) – LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena has been given a one-game suspension by the MLS Disciplinary Committee after having been ruled to have left his technical area and entered the field of play during second half stoppage time of last weekend’s 1-0 loss to the Portland Timbers. Arena will serve his suspension on Sunday afternoon when the Galaxy host Chivas USA in the third and final SuperClasico of 2013. As a result of his suspension, Arena will not be permitted to be on the sideline or in the locker room for Sunday’s game.
