CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy are moving slowly with the return of Todd Dunivant who returned to exercising on Thursday and is not expected to see the field in training until next week.
Dunivant has missed time since suffering an abdominal injury that forced him to exit LA’s 3-0 victory over Chivas USA on April 12. With Dunivant still unavailable for selection, the Galaxy will likely turn to A.J. DeLaGarza at left back for a second consecutive week as LA take on Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday at BC Place.
“We’re just going to take it one day at a time,” said Arena of Dunivant’s status. “But we think that we can get him on the [training] field next week.
