Bradford Jamieson IV targets first team as he enjoys success with LA Galaxy II

CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy Homegrown Player Bradford Jamieson IV is bold. Just one look at his new Neymar-inspired hairdo and you can find that out.

So it's no surprise that the LA Galaxy II star winger has set his sights on making his first team debut by the end of the 2014 season.

To date, Jamieson has managed five goals for Los Dos, which is second only behind Chandler Hoffman who has hit the back of the net eight times for the Galaxy USL PRO affiliate. While Hoffman and fellow Homegrown signing Raul Mendiola have seen time with the first team, Jamieson has yet to make an appearance despite being a key asset for head coach Curt Onalfo's side.

"I'd like to think that I can reach the first team before the season is over," Jamieson told LA Galaxy Insider after scoring his fifth goal in Los Dos' 4-1 win over Arizona United SC last week. "There are definitely games for our younger players where I can show what I have to give. I think that Bruce Arena and Curt have belief in the younger players because they wouldn't have the Galaxy II system if the end goal wasn't for us to all be up there."

Until he reaches that pinnacle however, the precocious teenager is focusing on how he can improve his game so that once that call comes he's ready.

"I've felt really positive lately," said Jamieson. "Finishing chances helps me know that I'm going in the right direction and after every game, I'm analyzing what I need to do so that I can pinpoint the places that I can be dangerous."
