The annual Major League Soccer All-Star Game is heading to the Rockies.
The league announced on Wednesday in Denver that the 20th annual MLS All-Star Game will take place at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, the home of the Colorado Rapids in Commerce City, Colorado on July 29th. The opposition for the MLS All-Stars has yet to be confirmed. Colorado last hosted the All-Star Game in 2007 when the MLS All-Stars defeated Scottish side Celtic 2-0.
Unlike past years, the date of the All-Star Game could benefit the Galaxy who play their final match before the All-Star break on the road against the Houston Dynamo on July 25 before returning to action on Aug. 1 in Commerce City against the Rapids.
