CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy are sick and tired of preseason and ready to get down to the business of the 2015 regular season.
The Galaxy trained on Tuesday morning ahead of this week’s regular season opener against the Chicago Fire on March 6 at StubHub Center. Not only will the Galaxy kick off their MLS Cup title defense, but they’ll also begin their 20th season in Major League Soccer.
LA will begin the 2015 regular season after racking up a 5-2-0 record in the preseason, but once the team kicks off for real on Friday; all that preseason business is thrown out the window.
“We’re looking forward to the game on Friday,” said Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena. “We’re all sick of preseason at this point and we’re ready to play.”
