Infographic: Exploring Robbie Keane’s remarkable first 100 games with the LA Galaxy

CARSON, Calif. – There might never be another player to suit up for the LA Galaxy quite like Robbie Keane.

A leader in every sense of the word, the 34-year-old Irishman has racked up some remarkable stats for the Galaxy from the moment that he arrived from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2011. Over the course of his first 100 regular season games in Major League Soccer, Keane lifted the Galaxy to three MLS Cup titles all the while solidifying his title as the most successful foreign Designated Player in league history.

In his 100th game last Saturday against FC Dallas, Keane provided a microcosm for his success during his three-year tenure with the club. Down a goal going into the second half, the captain scored two goals in quick succession to lead the Galaxy to a vital victory just as he has done countless times before.

In the above infographic, we look at how Keane’s 100 regular season games stack up against some of Major League Soccer’s best.
