Match Preview: LA Galaxy II travel to face Arizona United SC Saturday

Carson, Calif. (Friday, Aug. 28, 2015) – LA Galaxy II (13-8-3, 42 pts.) will play away at Scottsdale Stadium to face Arizona United SC this Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. PT. The match will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com.


This match marks the third and final game between the two clubs in the USL regular season schedule. The pair of clubs are meeting just 20 days after their last match where Arizona took home three points with a 2-1 victory over Los Dos at StubHub Center.


Arizona United SC’s all-time leading goal scorer, Long Tan headed in his 12th goal of the season along with newcomer Aaron Dennis, who scored his first professional goal. Winning their last home game over Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2, Arizona is now 9-13-1 with 28 points on the season.


Led by head coach Curt Onalfo, LA Galaxy II moved into first place in Western Conference Standings with as the French goalkeeper Clement Diop earned his seventh shutout. With the Costa Rican forward Ariel Lassiter away on national duties with the U-23 squad, LA Galaxy Academy product Jack McBean has scored three of his six goals overall during the last two matches to help Los Dos get back to leading the West. 


Following Sunday’s competition, Los Dos will have a short travel for an away match against Orange County Blues FC on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7:00 p.m. PT.
