LA Galaxy travel to face Central FC in the CCL and return to host FC Dallas on Sunday | Weekly Schedule

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Sept. 21, 2015) – The LA Galaxy travel to Trinidad & Tobago this week for a 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions League match on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 5 p.m. PT (Fox Soccer Plus) at Hasely Crawford Stadium. The team will then return home for an MLS match against FC Dallas at StubHub Center on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. PT broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports Deportes. Sunday will feature a doubleheader at StubHub Center as the LA Galaxy Special Olympics of Southern California (SOSC) Unified Team will face the FC Dallas Special Olympics Unified team at 8:30 p.m. PT following the MLS matchup.


The Special Olympics Unified match at 8:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Sept. 27 will be free and open to the public. The LA Galaxy SOSC Unified Team will wrap up their 2015 season Sunday when they look to finish the season with a  perfect record. In their previous matchup, the Galaxy SOSC Unified Team defeated the FC Dallas Unified team 3-2 on the road at Toyota Stadium.
LA lead Group D with 10 goals and a 2-0-0 record with six points in the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League ahead of Wednesday’s match against Central FC. In their first meeting at StubHub Center, the Galaxy defeated Central FC 5-1. In all time SCCL competition, the Galaxy are 15-8-3, scoring 50 goals and allowing 30. The Galaxy also lead all U.S. teams in SCCL wins (15) and goals scored (50).
Against FC Dallas, the Galaxy are 32-22-11 all-time in MLS Regular Season matchups with 115 goals scored in 65 games head-to-head. In their most recent contest, the Galaxy game from behind to earn a 2-1 road win at Toyota Stadium behind a brace from Robbie Keane. LA Galaxy and FC Dallas are currently tied for second place in Western Conference on 47 points each.
LA are tied with Columbus Crew SC for the most goals scored this season in Major League Soccer with 49 on the season. In the last nine matches in all competitions (seven MLS, two CONCACAF Champions League) at StubHub Center, the Galaxy have gone 8-0-1, scoring 37 goals overall and allowing just six for a +31 goal differential. This season at home in MLS play, the Galaxy are 11-1-3 at StubHub Center, with 36 goals scored and nine allowed for a +27 goal differential.
