SEATTLE -- LA Galaxy center back Omar Gonzalez was named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week after Los Angeles earned a 1-1 draw with Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday.
Days after being omitted from the U.S. National Team's squad for the CONCACAF Cup, Gonzalez put forth a strong performance against Seattle, as he silenced Sounders forwards Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins for much of the night.
