After the departure of Juninho to Club Tijuana, former LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham paid tribute to the Brazilian with a kind message on the Galaxy's official Instagram account. Beckham, who played alongside Juninho for three years, admitted that he was sad to see the midfielder leave.
"So sad to see Juni leave he was one of the reasons we were so successful in the championships we won," Beckham wrote. "His hard work and dedication to the Galaxy should never be forgotten... I know I appreciated his running. ... Good luck my friend you are an amazing player and person."
