CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Feb. 1, 2016) – The LA Galaxy will continue preseason training this week at StubHub Center in preparation for the start of the 2016 season.
The LA Galaxy played their first official competition of 2016 on Saturday night, recording a 2-1 win against Armenian side FC Shirak in a preseason exhibition at StubHub Center behind goals from forward Jose Villarreal. The LA Galaxy are in action next on Tuesday, Feb. 9, when they host Club Tijuana at StubHub Center, beginning at 7 p.m. PT.

The Galaxy’s first competitive match of 2016 comes on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in a 2015-16 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League match against Mexico’s Santos Laguna. The second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal takes place Tuesday, March 1, at Estadio Corona in Torreon, Mexico.

The LA Galaxy will kick off the 2016 MLS Regular Season at StubHub Center on Sunday, March 6, against D.C. United (7 p.m. PT, UniMás).

The LA Galaxy announced Monday that single-game tickets to all home matches at StubHub Center for the 2016 Major League Soccer season are now on sale.
