CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy homegrown forward Jack McBean was named to USL’s All-League first team after his remarkable 2016 campaign with LA Galaxy II.

McBean excelled in his third season with Los Dos, scoring 15 goals and notch two assists in just 17 appearances for Galaxy II. Despite making just 17 appearances, McBean finished tied for second in USL’s Golden Boot race.

The 21-year-old’s success with Curt Onalfo’s squad helped him re-sign with the Galaxy first team, where he made four appearances in all competitions before going on loan to English side Coventry City.

McBean has continued to find the back of the net for the Sky Blues with six goals with the Coventry City Under-23’s which has led to calls for McBean to make his first team debut.
