CARSON, Calif. – Jack McBean made his long-awaited first start for Coventry City in Wednesday’s Checkatrade Trophy match against Wycombe.
McBean went 90 minutes in the Sky Blues’ 4-2 victory over the Wycombe Wanderers. The 21-year-old on-loan LA Galaxy striker was active throughout his shift repeatedly helping to set up chances for Coventry City and nearly got on the scoresheet in the closing minutes of the match.
The appearance is just McBean’s second for the Coventry City first team after the striker rattled off seven goals for the club’s U-23 squad.
