CARSON, Calif. – Former LA Galaxy forward Alan Gordon officially signed with the Colorado Rapids on Monday as a free agent.
The Rapids made the move official on Monday, signing the 35-year-old striker who spent the last two-and-a-half years with the Galaxy. The contract is for the 2017 MLS regular season campaign.
The 35-year-old Gordon tallied three goals and one assist in 22 appearances last season for the Galaxy. Gordon announced the deal on Sunday with a heartfelt Instagram post thanking the Galaxy and their supporters for a wonderful two-and-a-half seasons that saw Los Angeles lift the MLS Cup in 2014.
