It's almost time to celebrate the vibrant Southern California soccer scene!
This Sunday, March 12, the LA Galaxy will host Support Local Soccer Night when the team takes on the Portland Timbers at 4 p.m. PT on Fox Sports 1.

Support Local Soccer Night will recognize the individuals and organizations of the past and present that make Southern California a national soccer hotspot.
Every fan in attendance will receive a free Los Angeles Soccer Legends poster upon entrance into the match. The poster features legends including Landon Donovan, Julie Foudy, Cobi Jones and Alex Morgan.
At halftime, LA Galaxy II will be recognized and introduced ahead of their season opening match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 on March 25 at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium, presented by Bare Republic. Los Dos players will also be on hand to sign autographs in SoccerFest before the match.
The Galaxy will honor volunteers from the AYSO VIP program and CalSouth TOPS program. Designed to help athletes with physical and mental disabilities participate in soccer, these groups are integral to the success of the Southern Californian soccer scene.
