Jelle Van Damme says LA Galaxy must rebound after Orlando City defeat: "Let's do it" | INSIDER

ORLANDO, FL –  The LA Galaxy dropped points during their recent trip to face Orlando City SC, but captain Jelle Van Damme believes the team to rebound heading into this weekend’s match against Seattle Sounders FC.

Cyle Larin’s stoppage time goal gave Orlando City SC a 2-1 win over Los Angeles last Saturday to resign the Galaxy to a 2-4-0 record on the year. Despite Larin’s late tally, the Galaxy showed fight across wide stretches battling back from an early deficit on Romain Alessandrini’s fourth goal in three matches.

Although the Galaxy were disappointed with the heartbreaking defeat, Van Damme believes his team needs to show more fortitude as they approach their first of three straight home games.

“Yes, we did very well on the goal. We dominated the second half," Van Damme said. "If we could get away with a point, we would of had something to build on. Now, it’s a shame we leave with nothing. We have a new week and three home games coming up, so let’s do it.”
