The U.S. U-17’s booked their ticket to the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India with a victory over Cuba in the CONCACAF U-17 Championship semifinal on Friday.


John Hackworth’s squad thoroughly dominated the Cubans winning the match 6-2 to qualify for the 2017 U-17 World Cup later this year as well as the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship final in Panama City. Indiana Vassilev, Andrew Carleton, Bryan Reynolds, Zyen Jones, and Tim Weah all found the back of the net for the U-17’s in addition to a Cuban own goal.


The U.S. U-17’s will take on Mexico for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 crown on Sunday at 1 p.m. The U-17 FIFA World Cup will be held this October from Oct. 6 to Oct. 28.
