The LA Galaxy (5-5-3, 18 points) will train during the upcoming FIFA international break after finishing up a four-game road string with a 0-0 draw against D.C. United at RFK Stadium on June 3. In those four road contests, the Galaxy went an unbeaten 3-0-1 with wins at New York Red Bulls, Minnesota United and San Jose Earthquakes. Their current unbeaten streak stands at six, a run that started with a 0-0 draw against the Philadelphia Union on April 29.
The Galaxy have ten days to prepare for their first U.S. Open Cup match of the season, when they square off against Orange County Soccer Club on Wednesday, June 14 at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium. They’ll return to MLS action on Saturday, June 17 when they’re back at StubHub Center to face Houston Dynamo.

In last year’s Open Cup, the Galaxy fell to FC Dallas in the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The Galaxy have recorded a 30-16-1 all-time record in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. They have entered the Open Cup every year since 1999, winning the tournament in 2001 and 2005 while reaching the Open Cup Final on two other occasions.
