LA Galaxy II will try to break a three-game losing streak in their second away match against Rio Grande Valley FC Toros in a month’s time. Los Dos were just there on May 20, where both sides split points in a 1-1 draw, with Justin Dhillon grabbed the second-half equalizer.
Dhillon has been the bright spot for Los Dos as of late, scoring three goals in his last five matches for Galaxy II. He collected his first two starts of the season in the team’s most recent matches.
Over the weekend, head coach Mike Muñoz trotted out a lineup that averaged under the age of 20. It’s the third time of the season Muñoz has started that young of a lineup. LA will return to StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium on Sunday, June 25 against Sacramento Republic FC.
