CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy midfielder Romain Alessandrini earned the team's first Team of the Week honor of 2017 with his goal in Los Angeles' 2-0 victory over Montreal Impact last Friday.
The Frenchman put the Galaxy ahead for good with a shot from the top of the box in the 15th minute that helped Curt Onalfo's squad get their first victory at StubHub Center in 2017. Alessandrini has been on a tear as of late with three goals and two assists in his last three matches.

The 28-year-old Frenchman has a goal, or an assist on five of the Galaxy's seven goals scored this season.
