Jermaine Jones and Daniel Steres "close" to return from injury | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy could welcome back Jermaine Jones and Daniel Steres back from injury very shortly according to head coach Curt Onalfo.

Jones and Steres trained on Thursday ahead of the Galaxy’s clash with Manchester United on Saturday. The two players have been sidelined since May with an MCL Sprain and a hamstring issue respectively but could be in line to return to action shortly.

“He’s close, and we just have to make a final determination,” Onalfo told reporters. “Daniel is also looking good. [Thursday] was the first time that we trained with a number of bodies that we had, so that helps us. We just have to talk to medical staff and make a final decision there.”
