LA Galaxy get set to host Seattle Sounders FC on ESPN | Weekly Schedule

LOS ANGELES (Monday, July 24, 2017) –
LA Galaxy (6-10-4, 22 points) return to Los Angeles this week to host Western Conference rival Seattle Sounders FC (8-7-6, 30 points) at 7 p.m. PT on Saturday, July 29 at StubHub Center (ESPN).

The Galaxy will attempt to break a five-game MLS losing skid against one of their biggest rivals in Major League Soccer this weekend, hosting the Sounders at StubHub Center for a second time this season. Seattle bested LA 3-0 in the first meeting, behind strikes from Jordan Morris and Clint Dempsey on top of an own goal on April 23.
Seattle has taken six points from their last two outings at StubHub Center, with a 4-2 win last year on Sept. 25. The Galaxy still lead the all-time series 9-6-7, and hold winning advantages in both Los Angeles and Seattle.
Seattle currently sit in 5

place in the Western Conference standings, eight points and four places ahead of the 9

place Galaxy.
