The biggest weekend so far for the LA Galaxy Girls' Academy is coming up.
For the first time this season, the Academy will play on back to back days, facing the LAFC Slammers on Saturday, then Eagles Soccer Club on Sunday. Both series of matches for the club will be played away. LAFC Slammers will host the Galaxy at Fullerton College, while Eagles Soccer Club welcomes the girls to Pleasant Valley Sports Complex.
The LA Galaxy Girls' Academy is looking to keep the good times rolling after going undefeated in their first two weekends of play. The Academy currently boasts a 6-0-2 record for the season and hopes to bolster that record through their eight matches this weekend.
The Girls' Academy has shown dominance on both sides of the ball in the early days of the Academy. On defense, the Academy goalkeepers have limited their opponents to an average of a goal per game. On offense, the girls have shined as well. Tallying twenty one goals in eight matches, the team has shown the ability to score and score often.
