Sigi Schmid says Baggio Husidic can "give us some minutes" in the final two games of the season | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – Baggio Husidic could be in line for his first minutes since May in the LA Galaxy’s final two games of the season.

Husidic has battled back from a broken left fibula in late May and recently returned to full training with the squad. The 30-year-old midfielder made eight appearances for the Galaxy before suffering his injury.

With just two games remaining on the schedule, Schmid believes that Husidic is ready to see limited action—possibly as soon as Sunday’s match against Minnesota United.

“He’s just back into training, so he’s limited fitness-wise," Schmid told reporters. "The other day, we played a little bit on last Thursday, and his engine was probably empty at 30 minutes. He’s someone that can come on and give us some minutes, but I’m not sure how many minutes at this stage.”
