Uly Llanez and Alex Mendez see action for U.S. U-20's in 1-0 victory over France U-21's

 CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy Academy stalwarts, Uly Llanez and Alex Mendez each saw time for the U.S. U-20’s in their 1-0 win over the French U-21 side on Friday.


Llanez started the match and went 78 minutes for Tab Ramos’ squad in their win over France, while Mendez came off the bench and played 30 minutes for the Americans. Llanez and Mendez have both played for LA Galaxy II and trained this preseason with the first team.


In attendance for the match was Real Madrid head coach and French soccer legend, Zinedine Zidane. 


The U.S. U-20’s who are in the midst of a training camp in Spain, will now head to Madrid to face off against Atletico Madrid’s youth sides.
