Voting open for the LA Galaxy Goal of the Month presented by Rocket League for June

CARSON, Calif. – Voting is now open for the LA Galaxy Goal of the Month competition presented by Rocket League for June. 


Chris Pontius, Bradford Jamieson IV, Ariel Lassiter, Zlatan Ibrahimović, and Romain Alessandrini have been nominated for the honor.

CHRIS PONTIUS vs. PORTLAND TIMBERS

Chris Pontius put the LA Galaxy on the board against the Portland Timbers with a lovely bit of skill. Pontius expertly brought down a pass by Ema Boateng and then feathered it onto his other foot before sending it into the back of the net with a left-footed strike.


BRADFORD JAMIESON IV vs. FC GOLDEN STATE FORCE

Bradford Jamieson IV scored a stunning right-footed curler in the Galaxy’s U.S. Open Cup win over FC Golden State Force. Los Angeles overran the lower-division squad to advance to the next round of the U.S. Open Cup. 


ARIEL LASSITER vs. FC GOLDEN STATE FORCE

Ariel Lassiter put the exclamation point on the LA Galaxy’s win over. FC Golden State Force with an acrobatic finish to send the Galaxy through in the next round of the U.S. Open Cup.

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC vs. SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES

Zlatan Ibrahimović scored one of the quickest goals in his professional career with a thundering volley in the opening minutes of the Galaxy’s draw with the San Jose Earthquakes. Ibrahimovic tallied twice in the draw.


ROMAIN ALESSANDRINI vs. SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES

Romain Alessandrini’s found the back of the net in the Galaxy’s draw with San Jose Earthquakes with a clever finish off a free kick that froze the Quakes goalkeeper and helped the Galaxy earn a point at Stanford Stadium.
