The LA Galaxy are advising fans to arrive early to the club’s 2019 MLS Regular Season opening match on Saturday, March 2 against the Chicago Fire at Dignity Health Sports Park (5 p.m. PT; FS1, FOX Deportes). The match, presented by Dignity Health, is set to see a sold-out crowd inside Dignity Health Sports Park.
Before the match, the Galaxy will unveil the #BeckhamStatue of legendary midfielder David Beckham in a pregame ceremony at Dignity Health Sports Park. Legends Plaza and the statue of David Beckham unveil will begin at 2:30 p.m. PT in advance of kickoff. All fans attending the ceremonies at Legends Plaza are encouraged to arrive by 2 p.m. PT to witness the historic event.
To accommodate early arrival, parking lots A and D will open at 10 a.m., with all other parking gates opening at 12 p.m. PT. Season Ticket Member gates will open at 3:15 p.m., and main gates will open at 3:30 p.m. PT.
#BeckhamStatue and Legends Plaza Unveil
The LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park will unveil Legends Plaza, a revamped plaza outside stadium gates at Dignity Health Sports Park ahead of the LA Galaxy’s 2019 Home Opener against the Chicago Fire. The plaza will be home to a series of statues set to begin with the installment of a David Beckham statue. At halftime, Beckham, a two-time MLS Cup Champion, will join Cobi Jones, Mauricio Cienfuegos and Doug Hamilton in the club’s Ring of Honor.
Galaxy Express
The Galaxy Express will be in operation for this match, and the service includes free parking at Del Amo Station or Harbor Gateway Transit Center. The Galaxy Express offers fans free non-stop shuttles to and from Dignity Health Sports Park for every LA Galaxy home match. The shuttle service will begin at 2 p.m. PT and runs through the match’s 15th minute. Return trips operate from the 75th minute through 45 minutes after the final whistle. Fans are encouraged to connect to the Galaxy Express by riding the Metro Silver line to the Harbor Gateway Transit Center in Gardena, Calif., or the Metro Blue Line to the Del Amo Station in Rancho Dominguez, Calif.

The LA Galaxy are kicking off their Nacho of the Match offerings with delicious Italian-style Nachos. The delicious Italian beef nachos will be topped with creamy jack cheese sauce, pepperoncini, fresh tomatoes and sour cream.
