Mural featuring LA Galaxy legend Cobi Jones to be unveiled Sunday in Watts in conjunction with East Side Riders Bike Club

LOS ANGELES (Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020) – A mural of LA Galaxy legend Cobi Jones, completed by renowned local artist PeQue, will be unveiled this Sunday, Oct. 11 on the Watts Councilman’s District building from 1-3 p.m. PT during a special community event. The event will be held in conjunction with LA Galaxy community partner East Side Riders Bike Club.


Artist PeQue, LA Galaxy legend Cobi Jones, LA Galaxy fans, and East Side Riders Bike Club will all be in attendance for the community event, with all attendees being provided with a free meal courtesy of Herbalife Nutrition, an LA Galaxy Modelo bandana, LA Galaxy soccer ball and various additional giveaways. Additionally, LA Galaxy defender Julian Araujo and forward Cameron Dunbar – both LA Galaxy Academy products with local roots in Southern California – will be on-site in support. The LA Galaxy will also be collecting bike helmet donations to benefit East Side Riders Bike Club.


Herbalife Nutrition will also donate bike helmets to East Side Riders Bike Club in addition to various bars, protein bites and Herbalife Nutrition shakers to the event.


The East Side Riders Bike Club is a grassroots organization located in Watts, whose goal is to change the lives of young adults and the structure of the community by fostering a passion for bicycle riding. For more information, visit www.esrbc.org.
