The LA kit honors our home and its history by embracing the colors of the City flag. The LA kit represents the feeling of home, whether you are from the Valley or the South Bay. We carry the name and legacy of our home wherever we go. Coated in our city colors, the kit represents all different Angelino cultures, no matter what border or bridge you crossed to get here, this will forever be your home.
The City of Los Angeles Flag was adopted in 1931, the green, gold and red stand for olive trees, orange groves and vineyards. The City seal can be found in the middle of the flag decorated with the three major crops of California, grapes, olives and oranges.
Club and city come together in a mark that ties the initials “LA,” used globally to refer to the City of Angeles, with a font specifically used by the LA Galaxy, to the Quasar mark, which represents a star withing the galaxy, just like how every Angelino in our city makes up the whole galaxy.
