The Hero of the Match presented by Pirnia Law is Master Sergeant (Msgt) Larry Gutierrez of the United States Air Force.
Master Sergeant Larry Gutierrez joined the Air Force in 2009 and has deployed to Kuwait and Qatar in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Inherit Resolve as an Aircraft Ground Support Craftsman. While in Qatar, he supported aircraft mission operations that provided combat air support for troops on the ground. Most recent mobilization was in Humanitarian Support of Operation Allies Refuge out of Joint Base McGuire/Fort Dix, New Jersey. He assisted Afghan refugees to safety after the collapse of their government.
Some of his awards include the Air and Space Achievement Medal, Air and Space Outstanding Unit Award with 4 devices and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
Gutierrez has been a LA Galaxy fan since it was established in '94.
