Congratulations to Galaxy youngster Jose Villarreal, whose first goal as a professional garnered nearly 50% of the fan votes to take home the title of LAGalaxy.com Goal of the Year. Villarreal's strike, which salvaged a 2-2 draw for the Galaxy in Vancouver, beat out other impressive tallies from David Beckham, Robbie Keane and Juninho.
"It was very special for me. It was probably one of the best goals I've ever scored in my career- not only professional-wise with the club but with the Academy.
