This Fourth of July, the beers are on Steven Gerrard.
The new LA Galaxy Designated Player will be officially welcomed to Southern California on Friday at halftime of the Galaxy’s clash with Toronto FC at StubHub Center but before the match, the LA midfielder decided to give his own hello to the club’s supporters’ groups. As a gesture of good faith, Gerrard purchased beers for all three Galaxy supporters groups (Angel City Brigade, Galaxians and LA Riot Squad) to enjoy during their pregame tailgates.
Accompanying the brews was a hand-written letter by Gerrard expressing his desire to give his all for the supporters of the Galaxy when he’s finally able to suit up starting next Saturday.
