LOS ANGELES— The City of Angels came out in force to welcome new LA Galaxy signing Giovani dos Santos on Sunday afternoon.
Hundreds of LA Galaxy fans and dozens of television cameras flooded Los Angeles International Airport’s Terminal 2 to welcome the Galaxy’s newest Designated Player. The horde of supporters cheered dos Santos who will begin training with the team this week, and will be officially unveiled by the club on Tuesday. The 26-year-old Mexican international will be eligible for both Galaxy matches this season.
