Match Preview: LA Galaxy II face OKC Energy FC Tuesday on the road

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, August 3, 2015) – LA Galaxy II (11-6-3, 36 points) will travel to Taft Stadium for a match against OKC Energy FC on Tuesday, August 4 at 5 p.m. PT. The game will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com.


The makeup match was originally scheduled for May 9 in Oklahoma City, but was postponed due to the threat of severe weather. The last meeting between the two ended in a 1-1 draw on July 5 at StubHub Center.
Led by head coach Jimmy Nielsen, OKC Energy FC (8-5-7, 31 pts) are coming off their first win in eight games with a victory over Arizona United. Danni König, USL’s most recent Player of the Week, leads the team with 16 goals in 20 appearances.

Led by head coach Curt Onalfo, Los Dos have been able to hold on to the second place spot in the Western Conference after snapping a seven-game unbeaten streak in Colorado Springs against Switchbacks FC. They are led in goals by forward Ariel Lassiter with nine on the season with Raul Mendiola with adding eight assists this year.
