LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena provides an update on Jose Villarreal and Baggio Husidic | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy will be without the services of Jose Villarreal for Saturday's match against FC Dallas.

Villarreal remains unavailable due to a right knee injury suffered in the early stages of the Galaxy's friendly with Club America last month. The 21-year-old forward is easing his way into full training but after the Galaxy's session  on Tuesday, Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena said that he "wouldn't think" that Villarreal will play.

The forward who had his knee scoped last month does believe that he'll be back in action over the next few weeks.

"I'm recovering pretty well. There's no pain up until this point, it's just about getting my fitness up," said Villarreal. "This weekend is too soon. I feel fine but I don't want to push it. We've got Champions League coming up so maybe I'll get a game there or with [Galaxy II].

Arena was more optimistic about the status of midfielder Baggio Husidic who the Galaxy boss said would be "back soon."
