CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy will look to snap their three game winless streak on Sunday against FC Dallas in a match that has major Supporters' Shield implications for both clubs.

Should there be a winner in Sunday's match, the victor will take sole possession of first place in the Major League Soccer standings and be in pole possession for the Shield heading into the final matches of the season.

Below are a series of links, matchups to watch and a prediction to get you ready for the game.

MATCHUPS TO WATCH:
ROBBIE KEANE vs. MATT HEDGES

Robbie Keane might say that the Galaxy are not worried about their recent struggles in front of goal, but you can bet that the LA captain will be hungry to put a few past the Dallas defense and break this team out of their goal slump.

OMAR GONZALEZ vs. FABIAN CASTILLO

Pace vs. Brawn square off in this key matchup. Gonzalez and the Galaxy defense will be eager to rebound from a horrid performance against Real Salt Lake, but Castillo's pace will provide plenty of challenges.

LA GALAXY OFFENSE vs. JESSE GONZALEZ

The young FC Dallas 'keeper has impressed in recent weeks, but he'll face a new challenge on Sunday against an experienced Galaxy attack hungry to find the scoresheet. If the teenager is not on his game, he could be in for a long night at StubHub Center.

SCORE PREDICTION:

LA Galaxy 3 (Gerrard, Lletget, Keane) FC Dallas 1 (Castillo)
