CARSON, Calif. -- Giovani dos Santos is making strides to return from the right adductor injury suffered against Seattle Sounders FC two weeks ago.
Dos Santos was present at training on Monday but limited to running. The 26-year-old forward suffered the right muscle injury against the Sounders on Oct. 4 which cost him his place in Mexico's roster in last weekend's CONCACAF Cup against the United States.
"It's a positive sign," Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena, who previously stated the forward would be out for two to three weeks, told LAGalaxy.com. " I have no medical reports at this time, however. We'll wait and see as we get later into the week."
