Gyasi Zardes insists that the LA Galaxy are "going to come back strong" after postseason exit | INSIDER

SEATTLE -- The LA Galaxy clawed their way back from two early deficits, but they could not come back a third time in their 3-2 defeat to Seattle Sounders FC.

The Galaxy saw their 2015 season come to end on Wednesday with a 3-2 defeat to the Sounders at CenturyLink Field. Two defensive miscues put the Galaxy down twice in the opening minutes of the game, but each time the Galaxy were able to battle back and pull level.

However, there was no comeback after Erik Friberg gave Seattle the lead in the 73rd minute as the Sounders bounced the Galaxy from the postseason.

“It is very disappointing losing against Seattle. My opinion is I hate losing to Seattle. We conceded two goals in the first 15 minutes and worked hard and got ourselves back into the game and they got another goal. It was very unlucky on our end. You have to give credit where it’s due and tonight, they scored more goals than us.”

As disappointed as Zardes was after the defeat, he admitted that he has complete confidence in Bruce Arena and the Galaxy coaching staff to right the ship for the 2016 campaign.

"You know personally, I feel we have a phenomenal team. We have great attacking threats and a great defense," Zardes said. "The coaching staff, they're going to get it right this offseason. They always do, and we're going to come back strong."
