It's no secret that the world finds LA Galaxy legend David Beckham really, really, really ridiculously good looking, but not even Beckham wasn't expecting the honor that he received on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old retired soccer star was unveiled as People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2015during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Video conferencing in from London, a bashful Beckham received a trophy (a golden mirror) while the cover flashed on the screen beside him.
"I mean it's the best moment of my career," Beckham joked. "I can't believe it."
People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive issue hits newsstands on Friday.
